(Português do Brasil) Prêmio CAPES de Tese 2026: inscrições abertas.
From today until May 17th, applications are open for the pre-selection stage of theses competing for the 2026 CAPES Thesis Award.
The Call for Applications can be found HERE.
To participate, candidates must submit the following documentation:
1) Complete digital copy of the thesis;
2) Declaration signed by the author agreeing to the submission of their thesis for the award (Annex II of the Call for Applications);
3) Abstract of the thesis in up to 500 characters;
4) High-resolution photo (JPEG) of the thesis author (300 DPI); and
5) Digital copies of articles and/or books accepted for publication, or other relevant products resulting from the thesis, which may be considered by the award’s judging committee.

Below is the process schedule, regarding the pre-selection phase:
Applications for pre-selection: Until May 17th.
Internal evaluation: May 18th to 22nd.
Announcement of results and submission of documents to CAPES: May 25th to June 2nd.
