Applications are open until August 2 for the “Sandwich” Doctoral Program in the United States. The initiative offers up to 50 scholarships for Brazilian students currently enrolled in doctoral programs in Brazil to conduct part of their research at U.S. universities.
Eligibility is open to Brazilian nationals—excluding U.S. citizens—enrolled in doctoral programs within the fields covered by the call for applications. Candidates must also demonstrate English proficiency and reside in Brazil throughout the selection process.
Applicants must submit an English proficiency certificate obtained via TOEFL iBT, IELTS, or the Duolingo English Test, in accordance with the call’s requirements. Test results must be submitted at the time of application.
